As of today the inventory of available single family homes for sale in the Reno-Sparks market dropped to 912. This is below the number we saw at the end of December last year of 1,119. Inventory is low and expected to remain this way through the holidays and into the first month or two of 2020.

HAVE TO SELL A HOUSE? BE PREPARED TO LIST IT! If you have to sell a home to purchase your new home, you will want to get your home ready to list. Once the competition for homes heats up in the Spring it will be more challenging to get a seller to accept a contract contingent on you selling your home. You may see more eager sellers right after the holidays due to some sellers sitting on the market during a more quiet holiday season.
