At the end of April the number of stick built homes sold in the Reno-Sparks market dropped 8.3% from March 2017 and is down 10.7% from this time last year.  We can’t sell homes if we don’t have the inventory.  Although new listings are up from March to April this year (which is expected as we move from winter to Spring), new listings are down 21.4% from the same time last Spring.  Last April we had 901 new listings compared to only 708 this April.  What does this mean for buyers and sellers?

For sellers this means “NOW IS THE TIME TO LIST.”  If you have been considering selling the stars are aligned in you favor.   As you can see the median sales price from March to April and up 9.7% from April 2016.  In most price ranges you will see strong demand for your property.  Almost any agent can list and sell your home in this market, but only an experienced agent can help you get the maximum sales price with the BEST terms.
